Do you children share their fears with you? Fears that usually stem from bad dreams or seeing tragedy on TV? They need to know that they are not doomed for tragedy, and they need words to speak when the thoughts arise in their minds. This week’s verse and confession is powerful for not only our children, but for us also!
Confession:
I was not brought forth for sudden terrors or calamities but to be the blessed of the Lord.
Isaiah 65:23, NIV
They will not toil in vain or bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them.
