Physics of Disney

Discover the “why” behind the wonder of Disney in this hands-on physics field trip for grades 4-12 🎢. We’ll look at motion, forces, and energy through rides, shows, and everyday park moments your kids already love.

This field trip opportunity is hosted by Essential Church School, but any homeschool families are able to attend.

We are first asking families to commit to their grade 4-12 student’s attendance to the workshop on January 30, 2027, in order to confirm that we have the 15 student minimum for the group pricing.  These deposits are per student and must be paid by November 1st.  The deposits are refundable until November 1st if we do not reach our minimum number of 15 students.  After November 1st AND if the minimum is reached, the deposits are applied to the total ticket costs which will be due fully by December 1st.

We are currently offering the following group ticket options which include the workshop and park entry for students in grades 4-12, as well as park entry for parents/siblings:

• 2-day basic park ticket (Jan. 30th in Hollywood Studios, and the other day in the park of your choice) at $275/person
• 3-day park hopper ticket at $415/person
• Ages 3 and under do no require a park entry ticket

Essential families should use the Essential discount code for additional savings when purchasing the tickets after November 1st.  Even without the additional savings, this pricing is significantly lower than the current pricing for this weekend!

The physics workshop will be a 2-hour activity on January 30th for just the registered students and select chaperones.  Parents/siblings will drop off their students at the workshop location in Hollywood Studios and return to pick them up at the designated time.  All other park time is at the family’s discretion, and the workshop will be the only group/student activity.

Families are responsible for securing transportation, lodging, and meals.  The tickets are only covering park entry and student workshop participation.  Deposits are only for students in grades 4-12 who are attending the workshop.
