Why should you go to a homeschool convention?
We encourage our families to attend homeschool conventions and retreats annually. Why? We feel that a convention will keep you inspired and fueled, but it will also open your eyes to new ways to teach and inspire your students throughout the year. Although you may not buy curriculum at a convention, you will be exposed to ways to adjust or use your current curriculum to its fullest. We highlight the CHEF Convention in Gardendale for several reasons:

Being local means it is convenient for our families. No need to make expensive travel plans. It is in your backyard and easy to access.
2. It’s Local
Being local means it is an organization which is familiar with our homeschool needs here and in the state of Alabama. CHEF of Alabama is focused on supporting homeschool families in Alabama. They watch what is going on in our state legislature and notify us of areas of concern.
