Alabama Homeschool Spelling BeeSaturday February 3, 2024, 1 pmCommunity Presbyterian Church825 Oak Blvd. Moody ALHomeschool Alabama has registered with Scripps National Spelling Bee so homeschoolers in Alabama will have a way to participate. A student must be registered through a school or organization that is enrolled with Scripps.
To cover costs for the bee, we are charging $15 per family (plus 4% credit card and web fee) $20.60 total. After registration and payment, you will receive access to spelling bee materials, including word lists.

We will use the online testing platform as a preliminary for all homeschoolers in Alabama (January 1-15, 2024). Then we will hold an in-person bee for the top 20 spellers on Saturday February 3, 1 pm (weather date Saturday February 10), at Community Presbyterian Church, 825 Oak Blvd. Moody AL. The winner of the state homeschool spelling bee will represent homeschoolers at the Alabama state spelling bee in March.
